Here is our homework offer for the year.
It is always a polarising subject with some families wanting loads and some none!
We are often asked how parents can help their children at home.
Three of the most important areas are:
- sharing a love of books and reading
- making sure your child is fluent in times tables by year 4

We are taking advantage of the benefits of technology in this area and have invested in a range of approaches.

Numbots -is all about every child achieving the “triple win” of understanding, recall and fluency in mental addition and subtraction, so that they move from counting to calculating.
Picturenews - teaches children about current affairs and encourges discussion.
Boom Reader - a digital way for parents and carers to record their child's reading.
LBQ - Learning by Questions (LBQ) is an online library of teacher-authored, customisable KS2 resources and questions aligned to the National Curriculum and other schemes.
Sats Companion - SATs Companion is an online platform tailored to requirements of Year 6 as they approach KS2 Statutory Assessments.
